Senior Business Analyst - Remote
Infectious Disease Consultants of South Jersey

Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support two agile squads working within the SAFe framework. This role will collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into well-defined technical requirements. The analyst will also write user stories, perform data analysis, and ensure the backlog remains properly groomed to support ongoing development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and support agile delivery.

  • Write detailed technical user stories, including acceptance criteria.

  • Collaborate with product managers to elaborate requirements.

  • Maintain a groomed backlog of technically clear and actionable stories.

  • Perform ad hoc database queries using SQL and Postman to identify data attributes and mappings.

  • Conduct gap analysis between old and new systems.

  • Support deployments, including occasional overtime on release nights.

Experience

  1. Technical story writing, including acceptance criteria

  2. SQL and Postman for querying data and validating use cases

  3. Strong analytical and questioning skills, with the ability to ensure a well-groomed backlog

Preferred Skills

  • SAFe certification

  • Healthcare industry experience
